Remember the period of time when it seemed as though everything was getting smaller and smaller? Our cell phones were tiny, shrunken versions of the previous brick sized creations we used to carry. Crazy fad diets were emerging every two days, each offering conflicting information about how to make our waists smaller without having to work out or give up chocolate cake. Even cars seemed to be retreating into themselves, sacrificing trunk space and leg room for cuteness and sportiness. One car manufacturer never bought into the hype of the smaller vehicle and has steadily been producing one of the biggest SUVs on the market.

There are a multitude of car manufacturers in the world today, so many that they can’t be mentioned in one breath. When we think of the powerhouse industries, Mitsubishi vehicles aren’t typically on the list. With a modest lineup of models in comparison to other automakers, Mitsubishi isn’t often considered to be venerable competition for other Japanese automakers in the United States. What is next for you if you are Mercedes-Benz? As one of the strongest competitors on every luxury vehicle state and a fixture in racing, there really isn’t much Mercedes-Benz hasn’t accomplished. They offer a line of cars, SUVs and vans to the public that put many others to shame with their amazing drivability and features that are meant for the shoppers of the segment for that particular vehicle. Heck, the work vans that are offered with the three star badge are even top notch and make the work of hauling products to and fro much easier than some of the competition.

When you purchase a luxury model, you want luxury features and a top of the line driving experience. If you are unable to feel the difference between a luxury model and mainstream one you end up feeling disappointed and wonder why you spend the extra money on a luxury model in the first place. The Acura ILX had this problem during its last version, driving much more like its corporate cousin, the Honda Civic. Because of this feedback Acura went back and gave it another go round to give us a car that is worthy of carrying the Acura brand.
