Pleasure without the Pain Brings the 2015 Audi Q5 to Life




As Audi has become known for cars that offer style, comfort, class, and performance this great engineering and offering gets added to their SUVs as well including the Q5.  The Q5 offers owners the ability to own a high-performing vehicle that offers luxury features inside and out as well as the looks and class that luxury vehicle owners desire in a great vehicle.  With the luxury SUV class becoming so large, the Q5 has had to stay ahead of the curve and offer a great deal of features and benefits that are not found on other models, making it a great choice for shoppers to select.

Driving the Audi Q5 offers a feeling of almost riding on a cloud while having the confidence that the vehicle will not lose control in tight turns or on a winding road.  This feeling is the direct result of a highly engineered suspension that keeps everything connected and dispels the road abrasions with ease.  The steering system allows the driver to feel fully in control of the vehicle at all times by offering a highly responsive system that is fun and easy to enjoy.  The Q5 also brings with it one of the quietest cabins on the market today, allowing owners to only have to listen to their selection of music and not the road around them.

Anyone looking for options when it comes to the engine need look no further.  The Q5 offers up to five different engine possibilities for shoppers to select from.  All five engines are married up with an exceptional eight-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode and come equipped with the Quattro all-wheel drive.  All models of the Q5 are able to tow up to 4,400 pounds and the gas powered models do require premium fuel. 

The base engine comes in the form of a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine found in the 2.0T models. This engine offers 220 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. The fuel efficiency of this model of the Q5 shows up at 20 city/28 hwy mpg.

The second model which is found in the 3.0T is the 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine offering a strong 272 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque.  This engine offers a fuel efficiency of 18 city/26 hwy mpg.

Next up is the 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine found in the SQ5 model which shows up with a massive 354 horsepower and 346 lb.-ft. of torque.  When mated to the transmission, this engine offers up to a 17 city/24 hwy mpg of fuel efficiency.

The Hybrid model of the Q5 shows up powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine plus an electric motor/generator.  This engine comes in with 245 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft. of torque and offers owners a fuel efficiency of 24 city/30 hwy mpg.

The final engine offered is the 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 on the TDI model that comes in with 240 horsepower and 428 lb.-ft. of torque.  This diesel powered Q5 shows up with a very nice fuel efficiency at 24 city /31 hwy mpg for owners to enjoy.

With an interior that is all Audi quality, the inside of the vehicle is elegant and comfortable making it easy for anyone who enters the Q5 to know for sure this is a luxury SUV.  The inside is covered in upscale and very enjoyable materials as well as showing off with a great deal of excellent technology for all to feel connected and in control when riding inside.  The rear seats offer several variations for cargo storage by folding in a 40/20/40 configuration to make it easy to carry odd shaped items.

On the outside the Q5 is understated but elegant and substantial.  The style is enjoyable for the masses with excellent lines and curves all over the vehicle and a very low and enjoy able angle from the hood across the roof.  With a great deal of chrome accents at many of the different points of the SUV, the Q5 is adorned with LED lights in the headlights, running lights, taillights, and mirrors.  The ground clearance is very nice as well to ensure the vehicle is able to handle some light to medium trails.

The Q5 offers its base “Premium” package full of standard features so those who are purchasing just the basic model still get to enjoy some awesome luxury features.  These features include a power tailgate, a xenon lighting package, leathers seating, 18-inch five-spoke wheels, tri-zone automatic climate control, a 10-speaker audio system and hill-decent control.  The Premium Plus and Prestige trims add features that include heated front seats, keyless entry, push button starting, iPod integration, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a panoramic sunroof.  All these great features make any of the Q5 models a very enjoyable ride even at the standard feature levels.

Optional features for the Q5 include a Technology package with bundles blind spot detection and a navigation system together.  Additional optional features include a Nappa leather-clad instrument panel, a 14-speaker 505-watt Bang & Olufsen sound system, a rear seat entertainment package, adaptive cruise control, a high-tech system with navigation, a rearview camera and a 3G network that allows the Q5 to be a rolling Wi-Fi hot spot.  The Q5 also offers owners an available cup holder that can keep drinks either cold or hot depending on needs.  With some many awesome additional features added to the vehicle, the Q5 becomes one of the most feature filled luxury SUVs on the market.

At the base price the Q5 starts with an asking price of $40,000.  This price does go up fast including an additional $550 just to have a color that isn’t black or white.  The 3.0T model starts around $46,000 and the TDI begins near $48,000 before any additional features are added.  The hybrid reaches up to the $53,000 mark with the SQ5 coming in at $53,700 to start.  Once features begin to be added, $60,000 comes into play for the price of this awesome SUV very quickly.
