Facelift Plus Tech Boost Wins for 2015 Chevrolet Cruze

With advanced technology offered on many new vehicles, Chevrolet has added quite a bit to the Cruze for fans to enjoy and creating a fun environment.  By offering greater technology automakers are able to improve their vehicles without having to redo the outside bodywork and still have an all new model to offer.

According to Steve Majoros, Chevrolet Director of Passenger Car and Crossover Marketing, he stated “We’ve simply made a great, versatile car even better.”  By being the cornerstone of the small car lineup from Chevrolet that includes the Spark, Sonic and Volt the Cruze offer great fuel efficiency and connectivity features that are very popular with car shoppers in today’s market.

The facelift offered on the Cruze for 2015 give the car a refreshed appearance for the LS, LT, RS and LTZ models.  This facelift includes new prominent a dual-port front fascia, LED daytime running lights on the LT and LTZ trims, swept-back headlamps, and a wide variety of new interior and exterior color schemes to choose from.

Two new Cruze models are being introduced for 2015 which brings in the Cruze Eco that offers a massive 42 mpg on the highway as well as the Cruze Diesel that really gets it going at 46 mpg on the highway.  This will bring even more fuel efficiency across the Cruze lineup and attract many more first time car shoppers than ever before.

Some of the new technological enhancements for the Cruze include a new Text Message Alert feature that will read texts through the vehicles speakers, Siri Eyes Free for iPhone users, OnStar 4G LTE to create an available Wi-Fi hotspot to allow drivers and passengers to connect up to seven mobile devices at one time, and Chevrolet AppShop with allows owners to view and download apps directly to the vehicle allowing drivers their favorite data, music, weather or travel apps.  All of this will appeal to a much younger generation as well as be useful to the older generations as well, allowing the new Cruze lineup to fit almost any age group.

Other upgrades include the revised cup holders, the trunk release button on the center console, both of which offer a better convenience and wider range of use than before.  Door locks have even been moved to the doors where they make much more sense especially for the older crowd.

The Cruze also offers more standard safety features than any other car in this class.  It offers ten airbags standard on all models including side-impact and knee airbags for front seat riders.  The Cruze also includes blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, rear parking assistance, and a rearview camera all in place to assist the driver in making sure their precious cargo is able to safely arrive at the intended destination.

Adding all this awesome technology that is wrapped in a gorgeous package the 2015 Chevrolet Cruze continues to be a leader in the small car segment and offers shoppers many choices when looking for a great vehicle at an easy to live with price.  The new Cruze is poised to continue to lead its class and offer any owner the pride of knowing they bought a great car as well as all the fun gadgets and technological advancements to appease any crowd.
