The Compact Crossover Market is Getting Bigger

What are the new vehicles for the new model year?  Do you notice a trend, especially in the SUV market?  The trend seems to be to get smaller.  As the world decided years ago it no longer loved wagons as much as it had for so many generations the crossover SUVs that are coming out in the new car market resemble wagons in size more than you would have ever expected.  Why are these SUVs getting smaller and looking much more like wagons than ever before?  What has taken us down this road to become a world where an SUV drives more like a car?

Why Produce a Product and Not Talk About It?

As bombarded by advertising as we are at every point in our lives it’s hard to believe a  car company would build a car that would not be advertised.  In fact this car was not just under-advertised but it was thought to be dialed down and built to make us believe the car was under powered and not worthy of attention, especially in a class that offered much more exciting (supposedly) cars that would easily enjoy the success of what it was expected to have from this amazing lineup of high powered sports cars.

More Imports than Ever

The sales for vehicles have been at a high for this year and several factors are why the auto industry has seen such a boom.  There are more vehicles to choose from, gas prices are going down, and the turnaround of the economy more people have the money to buy new vehicles than they have in the past few years.  This should be a good thing for our overall economy and it may be, but we are importing more vehicles than ever which does cause us to send money to companies that are based in other countries which it seems is going to be the case for some of our companies as well.

GM Testing New Safety Equipment At New Facility

General Motors and Chevrolet’s top priority is safety. They want their drivers and passengers to have the safest driving experience possible and have worked hard to incorporate safety features like forward collision alert, lane departure warning, backup camera, blind spot monitoring, brake assist, and even parking assist. Now General Motors is offering 22 different active safety technologies on 2016 model vehicles.

From the 4C to the Giulia
